Love is a four letter syllable which has the tendency to take one's breathe away or make one sulk at the end of the day. It’s a choice given to us to be either way but when we choose to escape from love there’s no way because we are always surrounded by unconditional love that sometimes is invisible to the eyes. Little things that we take granted for such as the air we breathe, the water we consume, the food we eat all this comes from Mother Nature out of love. Apart from that are the people that are close to our heart throughout life and the distance doesn’t matter because love will always be there giving assurance; "Till death tear us apart".
Firstly, love is a gift and how do we prove it? It’s simple. Walk to your living room and look at the way your parents see the family portrait and that look and smile they have on their face is more than enough. It’s not only about scientifically explaining a pregnancy but it’s also a result of the love that is shared and the unity of it is where a new life is formed and loved with each precious heartbeat. So, here we are as the best gift for our parents and it’s the greatest feeling and it’s even better to share it. They say sharing is caring and as such share the love we have as much as you can because it’ll never dry out under any circumstances but it’ll only double. That’s the power of love actually when we share without expectation (keyword) in return it’ll shower you or even surprise you with an abundance of love which you truly deserve.
Love gives you a reason to live. How you may ask? Well, when you suddenly feel that you are lacking some love (we sometimes tend to have this) we get annoyed and start to nag and regret our existence forgetting that actually, someone loves us very much. It is actually “US”. Yes, we love ourselves very much but the sober state buries that and we fail to retrieve it. The eye-opener at this point of life would be the question “Why are you born into this world?”. No one has the exact answer and we will continue the search till we are at the deathbed. If we end things abruptly without hearing out what your mind has to say, you won’t get a chance to explore the beauty of life and realize that you are a wonderful addition itself. Anyone can forget loving you but you there don’t forget to love yourself.
Besides that, love is capable to blow away all the miseries. Disappointments and failures are always present just to make us stronger though right there at that moment you will feel the need to shout “Why me!”. In comes your mother or sister or anyone into your room and doesn’t say anything but just embraces you letting all worries melt away. Love gestures such as hugs and kisses are special and should be used wisely by taking into account the person’s feelings as well. Parents forehead kisses, siblings kisses, bear hugs from friends are the best things. Those are the sincere affections of love which each of us are entitled to during desperate moments where it instantly lights up our face. However, keep that toe curling and butterflies in your tummies sweet kind of effect for that ONE and ONLY 😉
The best kind of reminder is also love. Love makes us reminiscence fond memories which starts the moment we are welcomed into the world till now. Memories are bittersweet and we humans are wired that way I guess, where there will be at least a pinch of bitterness just to spice things up. Both bitter and sweet memories equally emerge to the surface and eventually enlightens on the blessings we receive thanking each and every soul. Everyone has lost something or loves something but both are there just so we will eliminate hatred as well as learn to not let go anyone by letting hatred consume us. Negativity has a high influence on us but when there’s even a tiny bit of love automatically optimism will bridge its way adding colours to the dark valley and at the end, there’s a rainbow with a pot of memories to jump with joy.
Most importantly, love has no conditions or a set of rules to comply nor can we set some rules right before we enter the phase; it just comes unannounced. You do sometimes see in movies where any one of the hero or heroine says that her/his love is enough for the both of them. Sweet as it can be when it comes to reality it is damn hard especially one-sided love because that patience will ultimately turn into an outburst one day. But out there, some are willing to do it because of the persistence and genuine feelings towards their significant other and at the end, both of them come together though in certain situations we have to learn to let them go since both deserve to be happy. When love is there it does not let random judgments to outweigh the true feelings that one has and it trusts and accepts the true nature of the person which includes the flaws. Love is never perfect yet it's a treasure on its own.
Love is a universal code that everyone understands and experiences throughout life. On 14th February some might have special memories such as wedding anniversary, the day you proposed or even have a tradition of going out for a vacation. But at the end of the day, the time spent together is most valued not the luxurious surprises. Always have some time to show how much you love to your loved ones. Every day put a smile on their face and let them feel how special is it to have them in your life. Hold hands together not just as a pose for a picture but also in your heart; true to the promise.
