L.A.T.E.R (Let's ace together & equally remember)

Among the most common words in life is later. It is usually used to term laziness or ignorance but sometimes maybe it’s about delaying with the motive of treasuring time. LATER, can be defined beyond its normal terminology.

To me, later is a word which is close to my heart because there are many occasions where I have said later and heard my friends say so too. A busy schedule ensures a productive time at the same time reduces the leisure time where just a few minutes become measurable. To avoid hurting our love ones we say that we will chat or talk later but it turns up to be a much huger war when that later turns out to be a month or a few weeks later. 

I realized that connections are important but at the same time, it’s crucial to give priority to ourselves since dedication to oneself will bring more people closer in a good way. How does that happen? Well, when you stop sticking yourself to the small four walls you will gradually extend the wall like the “The Great Wall of China” where life gets more interesting. More challenges will fall into place testing our performance level and only giving way to the best than the rest. Performance based on our capability requires utmost patience and perseverance since this is a stage where different chemicals are being mixed and it must not explode when creating a new bond. Most importantly, it frequently reminds one that time is ticking “tick, tock, tick, tock”.

Moreover, it’s never fun to talk with our loved ones under pressure or a dilemma. The negative vibe will be transferred to the person on the other side of the line. It’s good to share the problems we face but sometimes we do need time for our own in order to recuperate. Not all will feel the need to share because some hold their pride intact by making sure the problem is solved first and then they tell it if only when it comes up unnoticed. Each person lives in their own terms and conditions and when we learn to respect it we will stick on each other’s mind always till there’s a proper Later.

My friend will rarely have the time to talk to me, whereby the words which can define my friend is “under construction”. If a building is under construction we won’t dare to enter since we believe it will be stronger when it’s complete. That is how my friend feels. My friend believes that one will feel stronger and the audacity to carry out responsibilities will be higher when the feeling of completeness is convincing enough. So, with my friend, I define L.A.T.E.R as (Let's ace together & equally remember). We would be talking for a few minutes and in the 7th minute the most famous word will be mentioned and I’ll automatically understand that it’s going to be a long time till the next 7th minute. But I know deep down we are going to ace it together and equally occupy a small portion of our minds amidst the busy life.

Thus, getting angry with the word later will only ruin the few golden minutes with the person we love. Pulling back the past promises is not going to help and it will also ruin each others day. So, let’s declare L.A.T.E.R as a caring way of saying “I’m finding a correct time.” instead of thinking it as an authoritative way.
