A Chance

We often wish we were given another chance. What would it be like to wake up to the same event every day making you regret every single day for letting it slip away? Yup, it’ll be horrible. However, in reality, we do not instantly pounce on an opportunity because there’ll equally be other factors that pull us back from grabbing it. An opportunity or chance can be defined as a door which is locked and now it requires you to find the hidden key or persuade the person to hand you the key or it can even be you are waiting for someone to open it for you. Opportunities or chances can be seen in different diagonals.

Well, firstly finding the hidden key and it’s never an easy job since it requires a whole lot of dedication and perseverance laced with patience. The best part is not many are really into finding the hidden key. No matter how serious or tough our exterior looks like it will somehow have this tender touch of a child's face which may only be prevalent to those who are close to us. So, the beginning is always about having fun and then slowly it hits in our mind that we have to get serious maybe by seeing others, parents nagging or maybe even self-realization. Always remember there’s never a shortcut in achieving success in life; you have to take multiple steps in order to grasp the most awaited moment in life.

My friend’s history might be something relatable to many people’s life. A playful child yet who knew by placing the foot in the higher institution that is the moment of a turning point in my friend’s life. Once we start to move away from home, we will start to find a company which will always be there for us. Some will be happily ever after while some a total disaster. Nevertheless, my friend’s view got changed when the opportunity to voice out an opinion was given and from there people nailed my friend has the next capable leader. Who knew from there every footstep were counted to bring a noticeable and relevant change for everyone to benefit from. From a single person, it changed to being a self-less person.

There was no persuasion but sincere wishes from all to step into what my friend believed is possible. Many voices stood behind as sole supporters in making the vision a reality when there were little diversions. It was a rough start and throughout the journey somehow the roughness was paved into a memorable road which holds many fond memories. It also holds memories which resulted in red eyes due to sleepless nights or some painful cries but all those were worthy when recalled. The pathway which my friend boarded also enabled my friend to widen the existing network and it came in handy when there was a need to organize or get things done.

Sometimes there were long queues to ensure everything goes as planned. It takes up most of the leisure time but when there are commitments and responsibilities everything has to be kept aside not with an aim to get a good name or to be titled as the ‘BEST’ but just to be a good example where the next in line will emulate. It’ll be a lifelong practice and it’s for a good purpose. So, it all began in a picturesque place and now it has turned out to be an endless journey and there is no withdrawal. At the very beginning, my friend did realize that it’s going to be an endless journey where sometimes self-necessities or desires has to be left behind. Yet, went with the motive to attain self-satisfaction through actions that may not seem the exact reflection as in mind but with some errors, it is corrected and it resulted in an improved performance when there was a next time.

My friend found the hidden key through own persuasion even though at first the key was lost. Then it was time to persuade many people to hand over the key to unlock the door. Gaining people’s trust is never an easy task and lastly, there will be a need to step down and wait for the person to open the door because by gaining access forcefully it is not going to lead to a successful or satisfying outcome. Thus, as such our life also revolves around opportunities from different diagonals. It’s our choice to grab it and utilize it thoroughly. Do not let regret find a place in your mind because it’ll keep on letting you lose the upcoming chances.

If you dropped one let it be for a good purpose and do not look back. Apart from focusing on obtaining a chance for yourself, also allow another individual to flourish. Giving another an opportunity can make a huge difference in their life because everyone equally wants life to be as they desire and by giving everyone equal opportunity they’ll be able to attain the purpose of their life. When as such occur then chances will no longer be seen as something to compete but as a blessing that will result in a most valuable gift, a SMILE.
