Being a teacher is never an easy job. It requires a lot of dedication and a whole lot of patience to conquest the job wholeheartedly and bring the best out of each student. Apart from being a teacher, they also have other duties which require an equal amount of attention but at times they tend to lack in these and just focus so much on being a teacher. A tough exterior and some extreme scolding do not entirely analyze their interior because their heart is very soft in nature and we tend to be absent-minded about that.
However, school is not the only place where teachers exist because our entire life revolves around teachers who measure from big to small. Our first teacher in life would be our parents. The simple ABC and other relevant words all came with mom’s guidance. She thought us to read our first book and also taught us on how to carry out our daily activities. The most basic steps came from her and followed by our father who taught us bravery and never to bulge when challenges send us an invitation. Our first fall from our bicycle ride, our first fall as a result of taking the first footsteps in life they were there to catch us and wipe our tears away. It may also be the other way around but nevertheless, it was them who trained us to be ready to face the outside world.
Then, we get enrolled into a school and we slowly get upgraded in accordance to our age. In school, accredited teachers stood in front the class and endorse us in activities that instilled our mind and we learned new things. We gain the knowledge to survive in this world that is through reading and writing and we practice that through the huge load of homework till we are good enough. Multiple subjects are introduced with courtesy for students to find their real aptitude and realize their real alignment towards the future. School becomes a platform to put your knowledge to test by participation and by minor exposures which give you the courage to just be yourself. The school trains us to compete for the best in the outside world.
Apart from all above, the most significant lessons are from our peers and friends of course. They might not be qualified teachers, but they are the ones who are always with us and ready to entertain us with mistakes and advice. In each phase of life, we subsequently add friends to our already long friend list and each of them is unique in their own way. They will call it a day after committing a major mistake and we end up with them when they cry their heart out. When the time comes it might be vice versa as well. No matter what it turns out to be the lessons that we learn from each mistake seriously creates a huge impact in our life. It does not only turn out to be a memorable incident but it just turns us into a more matured version and makes us prepared to face the extreme problems and challenges that await outside our comfort zone.
When our mind is open to new things, then eventually we will give everyone an opportunity to be a teacher. Everyone will always have something to share with us as for how we are to the world. Our emotions will be played, judged, most importantly tested and all of these will be an endless journey because humans are always nomads where they acclimatize and learn new things when they embark on long journeys from time to time. We will never remain static and if we do we are not exploring enough since experiences always come handy for a better improvement or else we will be encapsulated by the thought that we are perfect. The reality is it’s always never enough.
Increase your connection and never forgot all those teachers who were involved directly and indirectly in life because if it’s not for them we won’t be here right now. So, let’s thank everyone who played a part in teaching what life is all about!
THANK YOU AND HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY!
